Privacy Policy
Effective June 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Rentivue handles personal data. For operational records you enter about tenants, applicants, vendors, and employees, you are the controller and we act as a processor on your behalf.
Data we process
- Account data: name, email, role, and authentication metadata.
- Customer Data: properties, units, leases, payments, maintenance, compliance, documents, and the personal data of tenants/applicants/vendors/employees you choose to store.
- Usage and security logs: sign-in events, audit records, and IP/user-agent metadata.
How we use it
- To provide, secure, and support the Service.
- To maintain audit trails and detect or investigate misuse.
- To communicate with you about your account and service notices.
Sensitive data
Highly sensitive fields (for example, government identifiers) are encrypted at rest and masked in the interface; access is permission-gated and logged.
Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with subprocessors that help us run the Service (for example, hosting, email, payments, e-signature, or AI providers) under appropriate terms, and only as configured by you.
Retention
We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, subject to your retention settings and legal holds. Demo environments are reset on a recurring schedule.
Security
See our Security Overview for the safeguards we apply, including encryption and access control.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, individuals may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we act as a processor for Customer Data, such requests are generally handled by the controller (your organization); we provide tools to support them.
Changes
We may update this Policy and will communicate material changes through the Service or by email.
